About

Mike Beck was born in 1993 and spent most of his youth in Niagara Falls, NY.  He studied many styles of guitar and music composition.  He started gaining an interest in writing video game music in 2012 after the release of Katawa Shoujo by 4leaf Studios.  Since then, he has been contracted to work on (unreleased) projects such as Yori ni Nenai and Bad Day, both from Lumino Visual Studios.

His music style has been described as extremely eclectic.  Some pieces are fit neatly into the box of ‘pleasant’ whilst others could be described as ‘anomalous’.  Regardless, he always captures the emotion of the events on screen.  Mike’s influences range from Keiichi Okabe, Oliver Deriviere, Yuki Kajiura, and BT, as well as a long history of gaming.
